We approach safety and the good condition of facilities from a perspective of comprehensive safety, both from the initial stages of project conceptualization, through document review, thorough inspection of physical facilities, as well as providing expert and specialized support for incident resolution.

These standards cover all types of water slides, regardless of their dimensions
Water play equipment
EN 17232 and ASTM F2461-09
This standard inspects any installation with water play equipment or water parks in pools and splash areas with no depth

As ENAC is a member of the European Co-operation for Accreditation (EA) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), with mutual recognition for the certificates and reports issued by their respective accredited entities, our inspection and certification work for aquatic leisure areas is suitable for any establishment worldwide that wishes to adhere to European (EN) or American (ASTM) standards and whose country is part of the ILAC agreement, such as Mexico (EMA – Mexican Accreditation Entity) or ODAC (ODAC – Dominican Accreditation Organization).

EN regulations for safety in public swimming pools
We conduct safety audits and certifications* for pools following the applicable EN regulations:
Public swimming pools
EN 15288 (Parts 1 and 2)
These standards focus on the design, installation, and operation of public swimming pools (tourist resorts, water parks, municipal complexes, etc.).
Pool equipment
EN 13451 (Parts 1, 2, and 3)
These regulations focus on general safety requirements and testing. They include general safety requirements for equipment in public swimming pools, such as railings and ladders, as well as specific requirements for water/air inlet and outlet devices within the pool.

As ENAC is a member of the European Co-operation for Accreditation (EA) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (ILAC), with mutual recognition for certificates and reports issued by their respective accredited entities, our inspection and certification work for aquatic leisure areas is suitable for any establishment worldwide that wishes to adhere to European (EN) or American (ASTM) standards and whose country is part of the ILAC agreement, such as TURKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency), ESYD (Hellenic Accreditation System), EGAC (Egypt Accreditation Council), among others.

Appraisal
Our accreditation as an official inspection entity for aquatic leisure facilities enables us, beyond our main activity, to prepare expert reports in the event of incidents or accidents occurring in such facilities.
We have expert engineering appraisers specialized in aquatic installations, knowledgeable about design, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance, who are specialists in detecting the three possible defects that can be found in these facilities: construction defects, equipment installation defects, and management and maintenance defects.
