At The Fun Lab, we continue to make progress in our commitment to safety and excellence in international water leisure. In this regard,Aquapark Dalmatia, located within the Amadria Park Šibenik resort (Croatia), has become the first indoor water park to receive the international Safe Fun – Aquatic Leisure Certification, following the audit and inspection process carried out by our team.

This certification validates the safety of its new indoor facilities in accordance with the highest European standards and marks a milestone for both the park and the water leisure industry in the country.

Certification of the new indoor facilities: A strategic project to break the seasonality barrier

The scope of this certification specifically validates the newly opened indoor area of the park, allowing Aquapark Dalmatia to offer year-round water leisure, including during the winter months and mid-season.

As an internationally accredited inspection entity (ISO 17020), The Fun Lab has ensured strict compliance with the applicable European EN standards for the design, installation, and operation of its water attractions, guaranteeing a safe experience for all users.

The Safe Fun certification supports a €21 million investment by Amadria Park in the development of a 9,100 m² indoor infrastructure with a retractable roof, designed to overcome the seasonal tourism challenges in the Adriatic region.

Thanks to this certification, the park can ensure that its slides and water attractions operate under the highest safety standards 365 days a year, regardless of the season.

Although the current scope of the certification covers the indoor area, Aquapark Dalmatia is already moving toward full certification for its more than 36,000 m² water park, with the final audit scheduled for next season.

For The Fun Lab, this project represents a significant milestone, as it marks the first Safe Fun certification in Dalmatia (Croatia), one of Europe’s most important holiday tourist regions. This recognition strengthens our position as an international reference entity for the inspection and certification of water leisure facilities, and reinforces our commitment to projects that combine safety, innovation, and user experience.
